07/11-08/11 Dalton Highway Expedition. Three weeks road trip to access remote area in Alaska Northern Slope. Sampled structural and radiometric characteristics of 10 shrub patches. Supported by GSA Graduate Research Grant and NASA Grant.​

As an extension of my undergraduate research I gave a series of talks to different sectors of the community (schools, industry, residential, hospitals) about the risks of rodents’ infestation and its effects on public health. Sponsored by the Public Health Department of Barranquilla, Colombia.
